WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A U.S. appeals court on Wednesday agreed to expedite a Justice Department appeal against a ruling preventing the government from banning new downloads of TikTok from U.S. app stores.

On September 27, U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols in Washington issued a preliminary injunction prohibiting the U.S. Department of Commerce from ordering Apple Inc.
