From developments within the Virgin Hyperloop certification hub and emerging small businesses to advancements in remote working and federal recruiting, West Virginia tech leaders are optimistic about the industry’s chances in 2021.
Outside of COVID-19, one of the biggest developments of 2020 expected to impact the state this year is the installation of the Virgin Hyperloop Certification Center in Grant and Tucker Counties.
Once completed, the installation will be used as a test site for Hyperloop technology, and many technology leaders, including Anne Barth, executive director of TechConnect, believe that site will have a significant economic impact on the state.
