World Insight: Global tech leaders share their visions on post-COVID-19 era at CES 2021 – Xinhua

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) – This year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES), held online for the first time this week, invited top professionals from the tech, healthcare and financial industries to share their unique and forward-looking visions for the future.

Global leaders, including Hans Vestberg, president and CEO of Verizon; Mary Barra, President and CEO of General Motors; Brad Smith, president of Microsoft, and newcomers like Nick Tran, head of global marketing at TikTok, joined the virtual meeting to forecast the post COVID-19 era.

“No distance can stop us from exploring the world together,” said Hans Vestberg of Verizon, highlighting the unmatched power of 5G to change the world.

Verizon Wireless is the second-largest mobile operator in the United States, with 120.3 million subscribers in the third quarter of 2020.
