After weeks of leaks and teasers, Xiaomi has finally launched the Mi 10T series of phones in India. The phones are coming to Indian shores after being first launched in Europe earlier in September. At the virtual launch event, the company announced two new smartphones, the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro, which will now serve as flagships of the company’s phone line this year.
The two new Mi 10T series phones will join the Mi 10 line of devices in India that launched earlier in the year. As mid-year upgrades go on, Mi 10T phones offer a lot of flagship hardware and features, and all at a price point that makes it definitely favorable over the competition.
Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro, Mi 10T: Price and availability
The Xiaomi Mi 10T was launched in India at a price of Rs 35,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, with the 8GB + 256GB variant of the device available for Rs 37,999. The Mi 10T Pro , meanwhile, has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage at a price of Rs 39,999.
Xiaomi is also announcing a few deals with the device, with bank discounts announced to bring down the price of the devices by Rs 3,000. The phone will be on pre-order starting October 15 from Flipkart and MI.com.
Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro, Mi 10T: Specifications and Features
The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G has a 6.67-inch FullHD + IPS LCD display that supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The display is a 7-step adaptive refresh rate technology, which manages the refresh rate dynamically on the fly depending on the task at hand.
Under the hood, the phone runs on Snapdragon 865 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. For the battery, users will receive a 5000mAh pack with 33W fast charging. As for the cameras, there will be a system based on a 108 megapixel rear camera on the phone which will be paired with 13 lenses. megapixels and 5 megapixels, with optical stabilization, 8K video recording, dual video mode and more.
The Mi 10T 5G is a toned down version of the Pro model, and as such, the Mi 10T smartphone brings a 64-megapixel camera system instead of a 108-megapixel rear camera system. The rest of the features of the Mi 10T smartphone will be similar to that of its older brother – the Mi 10T Pro model.
