I have always been amazed by the technological advancements we have made as a company. Science has always been the backbone of our modern society and has supported these discoveries. As Americans, we can live a life with many luxuries built on science. And as humans, we are able to transcend nationalities and borders, because science can be shared among all of us around the world.
Over the past 40 years, we have seen incredible and rapid growth with modern computing. The average smartphone is 100,000 times more powerful than the supercomputer that led the Apollo landings. About half of the world’s population owns a smartphone, using its ability to connect to the rest of the world.
