OMAHA, Neb. (AP) – Billionaire Warren Buffett urged investors to maintain their confidence in the U.S. economy and the businesses owned by his conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway in a reassuring letter to shareholders on Saturday.
Buffett barely touched on the coronavirus that ravaged many businesses last year, instead focusing on the long-term outlook for rail companies, utilities and insurance, and shares owned by Berkshire Hathaway. But he said American businesses will thrive over time despite the pandemic.
