Not the way you wanted to ring in the new year. On Wednesday, a firework stand in Crosby was broken into.
Multiple individuals were seen driving to the stand and escaping the store on surveillance footage taken from the stand.
At around 10:54 p.m., the Harris County Sheriff’s Office was informed of a break-in at a business stand.
The store lost some of its merchandise since no staff were at the stand, according to a Facebook post.
The money raised will be used to support veterans as they work to replace what they’ve lost.
Despite the break-in, the proprietor of the booth stated they still planned to sell fireworks on New Year’s Eve.
