Reba McEntire picks ‘Fancy’ singer Jordan Rainer
Country music icon Reba McEntire made her debut as a coach on “The Voice” and selected singer Jordan Rainer as her contestant. Rainer impressed McEntire with her fiery rendition of McEntire’s hit song “Fancy.” Despite Niall Horan’s attempts to win Rainer over with compliments, McEntire’s status as an icon proved to be more persuasive. Rainer chose McEntire as her coach, leaving Horan disappointed. Another contestant, Sophia Hoffman, who previously auditioned for the show, chose Horan as her coach.
