YOUNGSTOWN – During his briefing on Tuesday, Governor Mike DeWine tasked local health departments with holding press conferences informing the media and the public of their intention to distribute the COVID-19 vaccine as the state begins to vaccinate the elderly in Ohio in phase 1B.

The Columbiana County Health District will host a press conference today at 4 p.m. at the Columbiana County Vaccination Complex, located at the County Fair along Lee Avenue, according to a statement.

Officials expect to offer “an update on the current COVID-19 situation in Columbiana County,” the statement read, which presumably includes information on the local and gradual rollout of the coronavirus vaccine. .
