TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – A nice gift is to give a big push to a new local business owner who has honed her craft during the coronavirus pandemic.
Malayna Torano started the dog walking and pet sitting business “Dog Mom’s” in November.
She changed course from recruiter to sales, which she had done for five years, to follow her passion for caring for animals. She said the coronavirus pandemic made her wonder if her office job was something she saw herself doing in the long term.
