Vivo Y78 5G with 64MP camera and 120Hz display is released worldwide: Specifications

The Vivo Y78 5G was announced for the whole world in Singapore. It has mostly different specs than the one that came out earlier this month in China. From what I can tell, the global model of the Vivo Y78 looks like the Vivo Y78+.

The phone has a hole in the middle for the selfie camera, slightly curved edges, two large circular rings to hold the three camera sensors, a fingerprint sensor built into the screen for security, and a gradient design. Check out the full list of requirements.

Vivo Y78 5G specifications

Display: The Vivo Y78 5G has a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2400 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a hole in the middle.

Processor: The phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC with an Adreno GPU. The China version had a Dimensity 7020 SoC.

RAM and Storage: The Vivo phone has 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

OS: The phone comes with Funtouch OS 13 and Android 13 as its operating systems.

Cameras: The back of the Vivo Y78 5G has three cameras: a 64MP main camera, a 2MP depth camera, and a 2MP macro lens. The selfie camera on the front is 16MP, which is better than the 8MP camera on the China version. The main camera on the version that came to China was 50MP.

Connectivity: The phone has 5G SA/NSA, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C, NFC, and other ways to connect.

Battery: The Vivo Y78 5G has a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged quickly with a 44W wired charger.

Other: There is a fingerprint sensor built into the screen for security. The phone is 164.3mm long, 74.8mm wide, and 7.9mm thick. It weighs 177 grams.

Vivo 78 5G price not revealed

The price of the Vivo Y78 5G hasn’t been announced yet, but the phone should be in stores very soon. The phone will come in two different colors, Flare Black and Dreamy Gold.
