The Memorial Day weekend is starting off rainy, with showers in much of the region and a Flash Flood Warning in effect for parts of Virginia. Viewers can send in pictures of weather conditions near them through Pin It for a chance to be featured on newscasts and social media platforms. To use Pin It, users should upload a picture or video, choose “Weather” as the channel, include a description (optional), and hit submit. The 10 News weather app can provide updates on the forecast.
The unofficial start of the summer is looking pretty dreary, with widespread showers rolling across much of our region this Memorial Day.
As the rain continues to drench parts of Virginia, a Flash Flood Warning has been issued for Franklin, Floyd and Roanoke until 3:30 p.m.
