What to do if you haven't received your $ 600 incentive check

If you’re still waiting for your stimulus check, here are two things you can do.

On December 21, 2020, Congress passed a COVID-19 relief law, promising $ 600 checks to eligible beneficiaries. In an effort to quickly get the money into Americans’ bank accounts, Congress gave the IRS until yesterday, Jan.15, 2021, to distribute the funds.

If you haven’t received your stimulus check yet, make sure you meet the criteria first. Here is a list of people who should expect to receive checks for $ 600:

Individuals who reported an Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of $ 75,000 or less on their 2019 income tax return Couples filing jointly with an AGI of $ 150,000 or less Taxpayers reporting as head of household with an AGI of $ 112,500 or less Dependent children 16 and under.

For those who earned more in 2019, the check size gradually decreases by $ 5 for every $ 100 earned above the maximum threshold.
