Xbox Platform Development Director says the FPS Boost feature introduced this week won’t work with all games.
FPS Boost is a system-level feature that increases performance in some backwards compatible games without requiring modifications to the original game code, according to Microsoft.
Feature will see Xbox One supported games operate up to four times their original frame rate. The first titles to support this feature are Far Cry 4, New Super Lucky’s Tale, Sniper Elite 4, UFC 4, and Watch Dogs 2.
However, speaking in the latest Major Nelson podcast, Program Management Director Jason Ronald pointed out that FPS Boost will not be possible to implement on all older titles,
