Your iPhone with iOS 16.2: All the new features, tools and more

If you haven’t downloaded Apple’s iOS 16.2 yet, here are some reasons why you should. The latest iPhone update arrived on Tuesday, bringing new Apple productivity tools, Apple Music karaoke mode, and other new features to iPhone. According to the Apple support page, the update was released alongside his iPadOS 16.2, Watch iOS 9.2 and macOS Ventura 13.1.

Download the update to hide wallpaper and notifications when always-on display is enabled on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. There’s also a sleep widget that keeps you up to date with your sleep data and a medication widget that tells you when to take your medication. Speaking of widgets, you can now see what games your friends are playing on your home screen with the activity widget.

A highlight of the update is his new Freeform app, a collaborative whiteboard tool designed to “create with friends and colleagues on Mac, iPad, and iPhone.” Other new features in the iOS 16.2 update include Apple Music Sing, a chorus-focused upgrade to the Apple Music app, and new lock screen features.

The update also includes his SharePlay support for multiplayer his games on Game Center, so you can FaceTime to play together. This update also improves iCloud security by increasing the number of data categories protected by end-to-end encryption. Also, like any good software update, there are some random bug fixes and other minor improvements.
