First Man Movie Review: 4.5 / 5 stars (four and a half stars)
Star Cast: Ryan Gosling, Claire Foy, Jason Clarke, Kyle Chandler, Corey Stoll, Patrick Fugit, Christopher Abbott, Ciaran Hinds, Olivia Hamilton, Pablo Schreiber, Shea Whigham, Lukas Haas, Brian Ethan Embry, Arcy James, Corey Michael Smith , Kris Swanberg
Director: Damien Chazelle
What is good: More than a movie, it's an experience! Justin Hurwitz's experience of winning the 3rd Oscar with this haunting score and how Chazelle associates the greatest event in human history with music – it's "out of the world"!
What's the problem: Because of their subtle touch in storytelling, things get lazy in some places, too, for the first time I hated having popcorn during the interval because they became obstructive when things went wrong. Still improved in 2nd half!
Loo Break: If you even think of going to the bathroom between the two, your pee will levitate in the air (gravity on the moon) and will come back to you!
To watch or not ?: If you are here reading my review, it means that you are aware of the film somewhere and that you take it personally – look at it before the world starts talking about it, because everything is ready to make noise to the Oscars!
