Panga At The Box-Office Review: Expectations
Kangana Ranaut enjoys a good fan following. After Manikarnika & Judgementall Hai Kyashe is back at the Box-Office with Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari of the Panga. The film does not fall into this commercial area, but it was good and to inspire a sensation that is expected to work for it. Also, Ashwini the last film of Bareilly Ki Barfi was a sleeper hit, which should follow the same path.
Panga At The Box-Office Review: Impact
Panga was never intended to take a good opening and this is what happened today. I watched the film in a cold auditorium, little appreciated by 20% occupancy, and that too in a noon show. The overall rates of occupation of All India was much lower.
But the film has all the scope for growth? Yes, it is fact.
Panga is surely one of the good movies at the Box Office of India recently. The story of a mother and ex-Kabaddi player international who is still struggling to bury his dreams will allow you to move. While it is clearly in the mood for a return, while the world around her outside of his own self, he knows.
With the motivation, her son, her husband’s support and coaching of her friend, she finally takes the Panga and quits his job. She moves to another state. Yes, without her son and her husband. But it is all worth it? Well, the end is predictable, but it is all about how she is doing and not whether it does.
Now coming to the party, Panga will make you smile, it will make you feel good, inspired and emotional as well, but does not create the desired impact. While the film has a lot of merits that make it worthy of watching, the biggest factor he is missing is that it does not move you enough to leave you the tears to our eyes. The lack of brilliance of the music of the film is another low-key where it falters.
But what are the performance that are still in Panga a beautiful film to look at. Kangana Ranaut as Jaya shines through and proves his talent again. As a mother and as a sport, it rocks on the two sides of his personality without effort.
Jassie Gill gives a great performance. It plays beautifully-written character and it makes your heart warm most of the time.
Yagya Bhasin plays his son, and he is simply adorable. This child actor is surely going to far because he was a good actor in him.
Richa Chadha lends support and so does Neena Gupta.
Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s direction is good, but not suitable for the genre. It should take a few tips from Nitesh Tiwari, who has done a same kind of film Dangal around 2 years back. There was something in this film that makes history. Something that is missing in Panga for the most part.
Panga At The Box-Office Review: Final Verdict
Panga is going to do quite well at the Box Office. The film was a low start, but to achieve a lifetime of decent total of 40-50 crores.
The potential of the film is of course much more, but the scenario will strongly limit. Then, there is a conflict of Panga with Street dancer 3D as well and on top of that Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is always well in the large territory as the state of Maharashtra.
