Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Critic of the movie Quicker: The third installment of the Yamla Pagla Deewana franchise begins with the introduction of an Ayurvedic medicine named Vajrakawach. The world's largest pharmaceutical companies are trying to decode their formula for their own profit. The fraternal duo Yamla Pagla Deewana, Pooran (Sunny Deol) and Kaala (Bobby Deol) hold this traditional formula.
Parmar (Dharmendra) is a charmer and lives illegally in the house of Pooran and Kaala. Cheeku (Kirti Kharbanda) is an MBBS student who comes to Punjab to train under Pooran. The first half is synonymous with … Nothing! Cheeku's introduction into the family is treated as a suspense, but the director fails to keep it well.
The dialogues fall flat, the scenario is stretched and the jokes do not arise so very well. Nothing happens, every situation is scattered and the film is too difficult to be funny. Bobby Deol is just bearable, while the rest is torture. However, the best thing of the first half for me will be Kirti Kharbanda. She is the beautiful relief in the midst of all the absurd chaos that is going on. The songs are just another obstruction and none of them will fire, at least in the first half.
The first installment, featuring the Dharmendra and his two sons, was a success. Her sequel came out in 2013, but she broke into the box office. Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Released on August 31st. Stay in this space for a complete review, which will surely be funnier than the movie.
