Apple iPhone 14 leaked images reveal new colors and radical redesign

A short video posted on Chinese social media website Weibo gives a tantalizing hint of what to expect from the new Apple iPhone 14. Apple is expected to unveil the next-generation iPhone at an event at Apple Park on Sept. 7. The world’s seventh-largest company teased the event with a picture of the sky, featuring celebrities outlining the Apple brand and the words “far out.” And more details about the iPhone lineup are reportedly leaking out as anticipation builds.

The latest hint of the iPhone 14 variant comes from a Weibo video posted by DuanRui on Twitter. The caption of the Weibo video states that the shimmering end of the phone only appears to be purple from certain angles. The changing hues will certainly be eye-catching. Apple is reportedly planning to launch the new iPhone in purple, navy blue, gold, graphite and silver.

Radical shift in design

Leaked schematics and artistic renders had previously hinted that Apple would radically redesign its flagship iPhones by changing the hated notch above the front-facing camera. And now, new leaks seem to confirm that Apple will switch to an iPhone 14 without a notch for the first time.

The pictures, additionally leaked by DuanRui, who has an exceptional document, show the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max with a dual-punch-gap design as an alternative of a notch. And the punch holes are bigger than initially predicted in preliminary evaluations final 12 months, in accordance with Forbes.

Changes to the standing bar

There are also rumors that Apple will integrate another icon into the standing bar. A comparison of screenshots allegedly taken from an iPhone 14 Pro Max and an iPhone 13 Pro Max shows a clear difference. It is claimed that Apple plans to enlarge and realign the Standing Bar gadgets to accommodate the new Punch Gap design.

Another screenshot of an overlay seems to show that the reception sign image and battery indicator are barely shifted down and to the right. Apple may have revealed the sport with a patent utility first seen by (*14*). The utility revealed that Apple may also plan to use a “slightly folded projector to reduce component footprint and maximize display area.”

iPhone 14 anticipated to have greater digicam

The digicam in the iPhone 14 is expected to feature “significant” improvements over previous models. Respected Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed last year that he expects a 48-megapixel digicam in the high-end iPhone 14 models. The phones could even have an 8K video recording capability, which would take the iPhone 14 variant to the “next level. “In terms of pixel size, the iPhone 12, iPhone 13 and the new iPhone 2H22 are at 1.7um, 2um and 1.25um, respectively.

We believe the new iPhone 2H22 could support a direct 48MP output and a 12MP output (four cells in merge mode) simultaneously. The 12MP output increases the CIS pixel size of the new iPhone 2H22 to about 2.5um, which is much larger than the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 and larger than existing Android phones and close to DSC levels. We believe the camera quality of the new iPhone 2H22 will take cell phone camera photography to a new level.”

Larger telephones

And the new collection of phones may very well be bigger than previous models, in line with leaked images of prototype molds. Leaked schematics posted by Max Weinbach suggest that the iPhone 14 variant could even have a larger “digicam bump.” The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max may have a digicam bump of 36.73 mm by 38.21 mm, larger than the iPhone 13 variant. The new phones could even have autofocus capabilities to enhance video calls.

According to another report, the case surrounding the glass could very well be made of titanium. This would mean Apple would use the rugged, scratch-resistant and corrosion-resistant metal for the Apple Watches as well. It is believed that the iPhone variant will use the identical A15 chip that was used in the iPhone 13 collection. However, Kuo revealed in March this year that the 2 pro models will switch to the A16 processor.

Production testing for the new phones reportedly began in July this year, with mass production set to start this month. There are various statements about how much the iPhone 14 will cost. Kuo estimated that the iPhone 14 could be about 15% more expensive than the iPhone 13 collection, another major price increase. This means that the new iPhone 14 could cost around $1,349.
