Pariyerum Perumal

Pariyan (Kathir) is a young man from an oppressed caste who has great ambitions. He enrolls in a law school where he meets Jyoti Mahalakshmi (aka) Jo (Anandi). Parian has suffered from caste discrimination throughout his life, with his most notable incident being the murder of his hunting dog Karuppi. This discrimination continues at the university and they are constantly harassed by some so called ‘upper caste’ students. On the other hand, not everyone seems hostile.

The scene depicting Pariyan’s first few weeks in college with his partner Anand in the crime drama is great and absolutely enjoyable! Growing up in a slum, an orphan named Surya befriends a good crime boss named Devraj and works for him. His existence is in jeopardy when an honest new district collector arrives.

15-year-old Kalyani gives birth to a baby boy, wraps him in yellow cloth and drops him into a freight train crate containing bags of rice. This child is carried in this way, until the train stops, and some children enter this car to steal the rice, and the children run away with the child when they are challenged by the railway guard, leaving him near the river. River takes the boy to a poor neighborhood, where he is raised and cared for by the community at large, and is called Surya.

Four workers are tortured by the police for confessing to a robbery they did not commit.
