FAQs

How do you get to the hermit village in Elden Ring?

A long, winding road through Mt. Gelmir’s deep canyon is the only way to get to Hermit Village, which is deep inside the mountain. It’s easy to get lost down there, and there are many things to avoid along the way, such as a Runebear that is leveled for Mount Gelmir.

Should you join Volcano Manor?

At the end of the day, it makes more sense for the Tarnished to join Volcano Manor in video game Elden Ring than to ignore the questline completely. By doing so, you’ll have more chances to get some of Elden Ring’s hard-to-find armor sets and talk to more of the interesting people who live in the Lands Between.

Is Mount Gelmir optional?

You don’t have to go to Mt. Gelmir, so you won’t miss anything from the main story. Though, it does have a lot of things to discover and its own unique set of side quests.
