This week, the Oppo Find N2 Flip was officially shown off. Oppo Find N2 Flip vs Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 Design
The Oppo Find N2 Flip is a little bit bigger and a little bit heavier than the Galaxy Z Flip 4, but not enough to make one easier to use than the other. The screen on the Z Flip 4 isn’t as wide as the screen on the Find N2 Flip, which is a downside. The Find N2 Flip’s aspect ratio of 21:9 makes it look more “normal” when it’s open, and if you’re used to a phone that doesn’t flip, it won’t take you long to get used to it.
It’s easier to open and close the Galaxy Z Flip 4 now. The hinge is much stronger than the Find N2 Flip’s, so it takes more effort to open and close it, but this is a good thing. It looks like it is well-made and will stay in any half-folded position. It shuts with a satisfying thunk, and the flat sides of the chassis make it easy to open again because they give your fingers plenty of room to grip.
The Find N2 Flip’s hinge is less stiff, and it has never closed on its own when it was only half open. However, it has a springiness that makes it feel less precise than the Z Flip 4, and its limits are not as clear. When you open and close the phone, the motion isn’t as smooth, and you can feel that something mechanical is moving. This is something that Samsung’s hinge doesn’t have. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 has a 12MP main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a 12MP 123-degree ultra-wide camera. This is fine, but it’s not exactly a true flagship rival. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which gives top-notch performance without making the phone too hot or using too much battery.
When it comes to batteries, Oppo has done something very impressive. It has a 4300mAh battery, which is pretty big for a phone this size. It’s a lot bigger than the 3700mAh battery in the Galaxy Z Flip 4, and it’s almost as big as the battery in the Galaxy Z Fold 4, which is much bigger.

Which one should you consider?
We think that the cover display on the Oppo flip phone will be its biggest selling point. It’s a totally different approach than what competitors are doing with their outside screens, and it will let you take full-screen selfies and videos vertically. It also has a much bigger battery than the Samsung, which, when combined with Oppo’s usual optimizations, should make it last much longer. Also, it charges much more quickly.
Samsung does have a lot going for it, especially in terms of the strength of its brand. In Europe and other western markets, it is a much more well-known brand. Plus, it’s a brand that’s become known for making phones that bend. When you add that to the fact that it is water-resistant and that it can be charged wirelessly, you have a very attractive device.
